We at Calmglow prioritize our patients’ health and wellbeing. We are able to care for our patients while following the shelter in place and stay safe orders by offering virtual office visits.
We recommend using your computer or laptop for your virtual office visit, as information will be shared and will be easier to view on a computer monitor or laptop screen.
Joining a virtual office visit is as simple as clicking a button. Realizing that not all of our patients have utilized a virtual meeting room before, below we list the steps to join a virtual meeting room. If you would rather watch a video on how to join a Zoom meeting, here is a video.
Once you have scheduled an appointment with our office, you will receive an email with information about your appointment, including the Join Zoom link. Also included is the Zoom meeting ID.
On the day of your appointment, five minutes before your appointment time, click on the Join Zoom link. You will be prompted to either download (if this is your first time using Zoom) or launch Zoom.
Click Open zoom.us.
You will see a notification that you are waiting for the host to start the meeting.
While you are waiting for the host to start the meeting, test your audio. Should you have issues with your audio, here is a Zoom video helping with audio troubleshooting.
Once your host opens the virtual meeting room, you will be virtually ushered into the virtual room and your virtual office visit will begin.
